Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) will present on Wednesday 2 March, a report of "Practical Research Project for Sustainable Development in the Region of Central America and the Caribbean", which place in the country since last year. This project is run by an academic exchange agreement signed between the UASD education and the University of Hiroshima, which establishing joint research between both institutions.
The presentation of the project will be held in the University Council Chamber, located on the second floor of the building of the Rectory of the state academy and will be chaired by the new rector Febrillet Matthew Aquino, Yasuo Yamane, Vice Chancellor Hiroshima University, and Ligia Amada Melo, head of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT).
Also, Soichi Sato, Ambassador of Japan, Shoji Ozawa, director of the International Cooperation Agency of Japan, and Joseph Then, general coordinator of that project, who reported the activities were made during 2010 and referred to its planned completion in 2012.
